ince 1987, dealing with complete flour and semolina plants’
installations (turnkey), in addition to manufacturing of corn
flour, pulse selector machineries, Unormak has enlarged
its product range with fodder machines manufacturing under
the name of ORYEM Fodder Machines Inc. Unormak has made
breakthrough in the international market exporting to 45 countries.
We conducted an interview with an official of Unormak about the
firm’s activities and future objectives.
Q- Would you introduce yourself shortly, what is your production?
A- In addition to complete flour and semolina plant (turnkey)
installations, Unormak Değirmen Makine İmalat Sanayi ve Ticaret
Ltd. Şti. also continues manufacturing of corn flour, pulse selector
machineries. Lastly, enlarging its product range the firm has launc-
hed fodder machinery manufacturing under the name of ORYEM
Fodder Machines Inc.
Q- Would you tell us about your production facilities, how much is
your capacity and yearly production?
A-Unokman Mill has made breakthrough in the international mar-
ket in 45 countries with the references, as for production capacity
currently it has achieved 8,000 tons/day. As of 2013, the number of
flour and semolina plants has reached 14-16 units.
Q- What is your position in this sector; what is your position in your
own region’s producers?
A- Konya has been in the top level in the mill sector compared
to other industrial cities. We know the reason of this that Konya
characterizes as a cereal warehouse of Turkey. With this respect
the mill sector has caught opportunities. Unomak proves its posi-
tion every time possessing the most important place among the
manufacturers in its own region. The awards given explicitly show
our place in the manufacturers.
