Meram Belediye Başkanı Mustafa Kavuş, ‘Bilim Kurdu
Projesinin’de bunların en iyi örneklerinden biri olduğunu
söyledi. Eğitimin toplumun her kesiminin desteklemesi
gereken milli bir mesele olduğunun altını çizen Başkan
Kavuş, sözlerini şöyle sürdürdü; “Eğitim uzun soluklu,
meşekkatli ancak geleceğimizi şekillendirecek en
önemli süreç. Çünkü gelecek, insan kaynağını en iyi
şekilde eğiterek değerlendirenlerin olacaktır. Bu sebeple
devam ettirdiğimiz ‘Bilim Kurdu Projesi’ çocuklarımız
adına çok verimli sonuçlar aldığımız bu projelerden biri.
Çocuklarımızı bilim ve teknolojiye özendirerek onları
geleceğe hazırlamak için ve geleceğin büyük Türkiye’sinin
temellerinde bizimde harcımız olsun diye başlattığımız
projemiz eğitim camiasında da önemli bir farkındalık
oluşturdu. Projeyi önümüzdeki dönem içinde genişleterek
eğitime olan katkımız sürecektir.”
Bilim Kurdu Projesi Nedir?
Fuara katılan bilimsever çocukların ve gençlerin
beğenisini toplayan ‘Bilim Kurdu Projesi’ akılcı, stratejik
düşünmeyi bilen, çözüm odaklı, araştırmacı ve bilime
merak duyan bir nesil yetiştirilmesine katkıda bulunmak
amacıyla Meram Belediyesi tarafından hayata geçirildi.
Yeni nesillerin eğitiminde ailelere ve eğitim kurumlarına
desteğin de verildiği proje birçok aşamadan oluşuyor. Her
ay yaklaşık 10 bin bilim çocuk yayınının dağıtıldığı projede
bilgi yarışmaları ve bilim münazaları ile okullar arası ‘Akıl
ve Zeka oyunları turnuvaları da düzenleniyor. Keşif ve
sorgulama temelli bilim eğitim modelinin Müslüman
bilim adamları üzerinden anlatıldığı projenin bu yılki
temaları ‘Tıp, Mühendislik, Ziraat, Astronomi, Matematik,
Robotik Kodlama ve İslam Bilim Tarihi.’ Bu kapsamda
projeye dahil olan çocuklar, aileleri ve öğretmenleri
üzerinden uygulanan anketlerde projenin önemli oranda
memnuniyet yakaladığı ve çocukların gelişimlerine büyük
ölçüde katkı sunduğu hakemli bilimsel makaleler ile de
tespit edildi.
Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş reminded that future
generations have put forward valuable projects both in
terms of their physical and mental development as the
Municipality of Meram, stated that ‘Bilim Kurdu Project’
is one of the best examples of these. Underlining that
education is a national issue that should be supported
by all segments of society, Mayor Kavuş continued his
words as follows: “Education is a long-lasting, compelling
but the most important process that will shape our
future, because the future will be of those who evaluate
and educate human resources in the best way. For this
reason, the ‘Bilim Kurdu Project’ that we are carrying out
is one of those projects where we have achieved fruitful
results on behalf of our children. Our project, which we
started by encouraging our children to prepare them
for the future by encouraging science and technology
and to have us in the foundations of the great Turkey of
the future, has created an important awareness in the
educational community. Our contribution to education will
continue by expanding the project in the coming period.”
What Is The Bilim Kurdu Project?
The ‘Bilim Kurdu Project’, which has attracted the
appreciation of science-loving children and young
people participating in the fair, was launched by Meram
Municipality to contribute to the development of a
generation that knows how to think rationally, who knows
strategic thinking, who is solution-oriented, researcher
and interested in science. The project, which also
provides support to families and educational institutions
in the education of new generations, consists of many
stages. Approximately 10,000 science children’s
publications are distributed each month in the project,
competitions, science debates and inter-school ‘Mind
and Intelligence’ games tournaments are also organized.
The discovery and inquiry-based science education
model is explained through Muslim scientists and this
year’s themes are ‘Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture,
Astronomy, Mathematics, Robotic Coding and Islamic
History of Science.’ In this context, the surveys conducted
on the children, their families and teachers included in the
project were also determined by peer-reviewed scientific
articles that the project achieved significant satisfaction
and contributed greatly to the development of children.
