least five plants, we built a spare part stock. In case of emergency,

we send technical staff. We can deliver our maintenance services in

24 hours.

Any problems in export markets?

The most difficult phase of our customer relations is getting visa for

certain countries, especially in Eastern Europe, Bulgaria, Rumania.

Germany issues visas in two days, while Bulgarians do not answer you

in two weeks. There are some logistical problems in some countries inc-

luding Syria and Russia, because of political reasons. Public authorities

should be more supportive to exporters and to ease the red-tape.

Do you have new investments?

If investments end, the company ends. You have to invest in your

business continuously. Our investments are focused on having better

machinery. We will move to robot welding system. Thus we can

produce quality products more with less people. The cost of the

investment is about 1 million Euro.

General assessment of the industry?

Germany, Italy, India and China are other major producers of flour

mills in the world. Data about 2013 shows that Turkey ranks before Ita-

lians. There is a large gap between our prices and that of European

producers. Now the gap is narrowing thanks to the increasing level

of quality of Turkish products. Indians and Chinese follow us behind.

China is not good at flour milling machinery.
