Türkiye’nin en eski markaları genellikle şeker ve baklava
ile ilgili şirketler arasından çıkıyor. Özetle şeker sever bir
milletiz. Yüzyılı aşkın bir süre önce kurulmuş Hafız Mustafa
markasının yolculuğu, Çankırı’nın orta beldesinden
İstanbul’a sarraflık yapmaya gelen İsmail Hakkızade
ile başlamış.1864’te Eminönü Bahçekapı’da başlayan
yolculuk, İsmail Hakkızade’nin oğlu Hafız Mustafa ile devam
etmiş. Marka bugün ikiz kardeşler Eren ve Emre Ongurlar’ın
yönetiminde hızla büyüyor.155 yıllık bir geçmişe sahip olan
markanın şimdilik 11 şubesi var. Yurtdışındaki ilk şubesini
eylül ayında Dubai’de açmaya hazırlanan firmanın sıradaki
hedefi, Londra ve Şangay.
Hafız Mustafa’nın Eminönü Bahçekapı’da bir mağazası
vardı. Babamı ne zaman arasak bize orada olduğunu
söylüyordu. Bir müddet sonra eve gece geç saatlerde
gelmeye, sabah da evden çok erken saatlerde çıkmaya
başladı. Bunun nedenini sorduğumuzda da bir şey
söylemiyordu. Sonra bize “Hafız Mustafa ismi yere düşmüş.
Bizim. Bu ismi yerden kaldırmamız lazım. Ben Hafızlar
Gıda’y8ı devraldım” dedi. Babam bu işe başlayınca
kardeşim ve ben vicdanen rahatsız olduk. Babama yardım
etmeye başladım. Bu işin geleceği olduğunu gördüm.
Kardeşime de bir sene içinde otomotiv sektöründeki işi
bitirip gelmesini söyledim. 10 kişi ile başladığımız işte bugün
800 kişi çalışıyoruz. 11 şubemiz ve güzel bir üretimhanemiz
var.
Hedefimiz, Hafız Mustafa ismini dünyaya tanıtmak.
Cirolarımızı paylaşmıyoruz. Ama ciromuzdan memnunuz.
Ciro bizim için çok önemli değil. Önemli olan çizgimizi
bozmadan devam etmek. Yılsonu yeni üretim yerimize
geçeceğiz. Dubai şubemizi açacağız. Dubai’de de bir
üretim birimi kuruyoruz. 2020 Ocak’ta istihdamda bin
kişiyi buluruz diye tahmin ediyorum. Rakip incelemesi
yapıp daha iyi ne yapabiliriz diye düşünmüyoruz; en iyi

nation. The journey of the Hafiz Mustafa trademark, founded
more than a century ago, began with İsmail Hakkızade, who
comes to İstanbul from Orta town of Çankırı province to be
a goldsmith. The journey that started in 1864 in Bahçekapı,
Eminönü, had continued with Hafiz Mustafa, son of İsmail
Hakkızade. Today, the trademark is growing rapidly under the
management of twin brothers Eren and Emre Ongurlar. The
trademark, which has a 155-year history, has 11 branches
for now. Preparing to open its first branch abroad in Dubai
in September, the next goal of the company is London and
Shanghai.
Hafız Mustafa had a shop in Bahçekapı, Eminönü. Whenever
we called our father, he was telling us he was there. After a
while, he began to come home late at night and to leave very
early in the morning. He was not telling us anything when
we asked him the reason for that. After that, he told us, “The
name of Hafız Mustafa had fallen through the floor. We should
get this name to rear up. I took over Hafızlar Food.” Upon my
father began this job, I and my brother began not to sleep
with peace of mind. I began to help my father. I believed that
this job has a future. I asked my brother to leave his job in
the automotive industry within a year and come near me. In
our job that we started with ten persons, today, we work 800
persons. We have eleven branches and a nice production
site.
Our goal is to introduce the name of Hafız Mustafa to the
world. We do not share our turnover. Turnover is not very
important for us. The important thing is to continue keeping
our line. We will move to our new production site at the end of
the year. We will open our Dubai branch. We’re establishing a
producing site in Dubai, too. I guess we will reach a thousand
persons in the employment on January, 2020. We don’t think
