5 thousand sq meters indoor. All technical infrastructures of ours are

ready and also we have advanced outstandingly in production issue.

Q- Would you inform about the technologies you used, production ca-

pacity, the fodder technologies which you planned or new investment

that you completed?

A- We aim to serve in every point shortly what customer needs such

as machines used in the fodder sector, their components, necessary

modification. After sales service, which constitutes one of the most cri-

tic points in quality control and the necessary network, is sine qua non

for us. We will invest in a very specific area in the aquaculture fodder

technology, because still at the beginning of the project we can cons-

titute sub-units by stepping into specialization in a certain area. This is a

vital issue for us. When the new trends are considered in fodder in the

world, it is a reality that importance of the fodder technologies incre-

ases with every passing day. Fish production facilities in the domestic

water sources throughout the home are increasing swiftly. When we

say fodder directed towards the aquaculture products position of the

extruded pellet in water bears importance. In other words, the fodder

should float; sink in a slow way and durable against water. This requires

process to be some special during production stage. As Oryem, the

innovations we will make in the fodder sector, we would like to offer to

market in the light of key concepts below;

You can exist and continue as long as being successful in these mat-

ters. When you cannot succeed these, you would be disqualified very

quickly. In order to reach these objectives your technical infrastructure

should be enough. This can be provided via customer satisfaction

formation by putting forward smart solutions with technical marketing.

For this a structure should be set up for service-training in a nonstop

way. While Oryem was setting up this structure, it got support from

persons who are expert in their own field. Also university has become

another source for us. This should continue to exist continuously as well.

Otherwise, chance for staying in life is very weak. You can observe

trend of the sector from customers and university studies. The new

regulations, works, suggestions in both quality and sustainability in the

aspect of animal health, associated to this in human being health

with every passing day. Being able to take pulse of these and ‘being

always there’ is a vital factor.

Q- What are your investment’s objective in fodder technologies and its

future objective? Why did you decide such kind of investment? Could

the potential in the fodder sector respond to your investment?

A-There are changing trends in cereals processing, namely milling

issue. In a near future, together with not knowing of what waits us; it is a

reality that flour consumptions change according to final consumers’

expectations ranging from flour and nutrition habits. It requires struc-

turing and preparing according to these expectations. As Unormak,

in addition to wheat, other cereal processing machines and facilities

installing works, our projects in biofuel area and works in this issue are

continuing. There are many things to be done in this area. But it is ac-

cepted that aggressive competition narrows the activity area. Our re-

searches we made have brought us to fodder technology issue which

covers much more diversity, appearing in front of us with innovations

with every passing day. The sector is such a wide that every producer

faces with no difficulty to find area. Namely there is a noteworthy gap

in the market. Nowadays frequently spoken ‘sustainability and decisi-

veness’ show itself in a clear way.

Q- You are one of the experienced and successful firms in the field

of mill technologies. How do you consider that these experience and

success to reflect to your fodder technologies production?

A-Since 1987, the sales network both in the home and market abro-

ad, being able to set up quick commercial relations and managing

capability, installing facility and handing over experience, international

code of conduct liabilities and sharing skill, quality understanding in

every stage of production and assembling, common sense approach

and success in communication, shortly ‘Unormak Tradition’ which have

happened to date, are the most important elements which guide our

team in our project.

Today, we work with office and dealership system in 17 countries. We

can also manage our markets in the neighboring countries through

these central bases.

Q- What is your market target in fodder technologies? Do you work

predominantly abroad in fodder technologies as in mill technologies?

Do you aim to exist in which topic in this matter?

A- Well, our target is the global market. In this case we should state

primarily this; in fodder technologies appearing of Turkish firms in a

professional way in the field, having produced the delighted results is

really pleased. This situation is very crucial for us to get place especially

in the markets. In other words, when you begin the event, you begin

with a positive judgment, not question marks. ‘Turks are successful’

sentence is a sentence that encompasses all of us. We aim to be an

international brand known in both home and abroad with having its

references. In order to achieve this goal our strategy is to constitute a

widespread marketing network. Having able to exist in lots of markets,

of course, is our one of the primary targets. This requires being a firm

having its own concept which can be able to speak that country’s

language and sustainable education. Enlarging of sales network with

an organization in a correct way and conforming to company’s reality

is one of the most important steps. When quality is in question in sales

how you start, you also continue like that. Your growth is accomplis-

hing based on the same quality principles. Now there is a sales team

that can communicate in English, German, French, Russia, Arabic and

Spanish. Thanks to our teamwork and our good organization, as our R

& D team continues on production preparations and product portfolio,

also our sales staff has also completed its research on the global mar-

ket and marketing strategy of ORYEM in a great extent.

Q- Lastly, what would you like to add?

A- Actually within normal development process a firm gets a trade-

mark first in the home, and then opens to the world, constitutes dealer-

ships abroad and soon after set up its own offices. As for the stage af-

ter that, it becomes a multi-national firm with partnership agreements

and licensed production. We have exceeded some of these stages as

Unormak and we want to use our advantage in Oryem too.
