stages to the programs to honor our values who served and still serving to
the culture and art of Konya. I would like to state this that our events will
be held with the intensive participation of the people. We will put forward
the distinction of Meram altogether in the upcoming months. The Meram
Municipality will be a locomotive in this topic. Purifying entertainment from
being only a hollow concept by filling with education, culture and espe-
cially with local culture we will contribute to the city culture. Meram will
be also center of art and artist. I think this saying will summarize this issue:
Attention! There is art in Meram!
Development works are our priority!Q- Would you mention the new
works of Meram Municipality?
A-Our primary area will be directed towards development works and
infrastructure. We will remove trouble of plot with development and
infrastructure in our district. In addition to these, we will solve problems
about transport, naturel gas and infrastructure in the shortest time. In
this context, the urban transformation works will continue predomina-
tely. Also our inspections will continue increasingly for peace, comfort
and health of our citizens. We will constitute areas which let Meram
accelerate. Development renewing works are our priorities. The new
roads will be constructed to ease the traffic in Meram. As for the pre-
sent roads’ asphalting and maintenance will continue intensively.

Q- Would you mention about your plans and goals directed towards
urbanization?
A- In our election campaign there were demands from our citizens to
listen to them in solutions, decisions. Acting from this, we put forward
