İttifak Holding is one of the most leading conglomarates
of Konya and of Turkey. The holding has been operating
in different sectors. We asked the details of the operations
of Ittifak Holding to Mr. Tahir Atila, CEO of Ittifak Holding:
What are brands and leading sector of the holding?
Retail is our locomotive segment where we own Ade-
se brand. Selva is in food, Imaş in machinery, Selet in
agriculture and livestock markets. We have also Kulesite,
Kultür parksize, Eregli Parsit and Keçiören Parsite named
retail operations. Sub brand of Restore grup serves in the
restaurant and bakery business. AES sigorta, in insurance,
Adese petrol in energy, Aden gayrimenkul in realestate,
Belya in information technology, Iren, a distributor of
Hyundai, in automotive and Afen, Erpa and Afta in ener-
gy markets are others.
What means your holding for Konya?
As 25 years old company we are one of the biggest
group of companies in Anatolia. We grow in all segments
we are in. We successfully represent Turkey in abroad with
our growing volume of exports. We provide employment
for about 7 thousand people either directly or indirectly.
What were the results of 2013 performance?
Last year we tried to find innovative products and
services, that improve savings, and our positions in both
domestic and foreign market. It was the year that bears
its fruits of our efforts to increase productivity. As a result,
our sales have increased 5.93% and reached to about 1
billion TL in 2013.
What can be said about your export activities?
Under our Selva brand, we export pasta, semolina and
flour to more than 120 countries. Presently we have
buyers in 80 countries. We are the leading exporter of
branded pasta in Turkey since 2007. Imas sells machinery
to Central Asia, Middle East, and Africa and
Turkic Republic. It realized 9 turn-key projects in abro-
ad in 2013, that totals a daily capacity of 3500 tons
