flour processing in 41 countries. In 2014 new generation

machinery will be completed earning 102 million TL from

exports. Flour milling line compromises 96% of production.

Half of sales of Selva brand comes from export markets.

Any new investments?

We have some projects that they will be shared with pub-

lic later on. We targeted some strategic investments.

What might they be?

Energy is a promising sector. In line with our financial

power and entrepreneur vision we may be in this field.

It seems very promising for us. We also account for the

interests of our shareholders.

What are you doing in research and development area?

It is one of our priorities. In line with the consumers trend

towards health issues, last year, we developed new pro-

ducts for the health conscious buyers. Besides, we have

launched Selva Sera brand premium products into the

market. New varieties were added made of semolina,

mixed flour and bulgur.

We have ongoing projects to save energy in our retail

and construction operations.

What are your targets and vision for 2023?

To increase our contributions in efforts to reach a we-

althier society, to bolster our corporate structure that

depends on our historical values, having a business philo-

sophy that emphasizes on productivity, stability and susta-

inability are our priorities for the year 2023, the centennial

of the Turkish Republic. Our target for 2013 is to reach

5 billion TL sales and to employ 10 thousand people by

having international partners and investments.
