Regarding unconsciousness consumption of underwater in the
Konya base, the lake has begun to dry completely in summer
months in recent years. It is also a bird area. It is a rare natural
wonders of Turkey where nomad birds have a break. Unfortunately,
it has begun to dry.
Çatalhöyük
Çatalhöyük is a settlement area goes back to 7500 B.C, as a very
large Neolithic and Copper Age. It is accepted as the first settle-
ment place of humanitarian history. Likely, it is the oldest and the
most developed Neolithic age settlement center.
Having discovered by James Mellaart in 1958, the first excavati-
ons were made in 1961-1963 and 1965. Launched in 1993 again
and continued nowadays, the excavations are managed by Ian
Hodder.
Its eastern settlement is a settlement unit which reached a height
up to 20 meters from the plain during Neolithic age. Also there is a
small settlement unit towards west and a Byzantium settlement unit
located a few hundreds towards east.
Prehistorically settlement units were abandoned before Silver Age.
Once, between the two settlements an arm of Çarşamba River
flowed, and the settlement units were installed on the alluvial soils
which are deemed fertile in the first agriculture cultivation times.

4.Nasreddin Hodja
Nasreddin Hodja is the name of folk scholar lived in Anatolia in 13th
century he is a very crucial Turkish folkloric joke hero. The first story
of Nasreddin Hodja having recorded is in Saltukname which an-
notate the life of Sarı Saltuk in 1480. Over the order of Prince Cem
Sultan, the son of Conqueror (Fatih) Sultan Mehmet, the Saltukna-
me was completed by Ebül Hayr Rumi in seven years by compiling
from Turkish verbal tradition and then was made a book. When the

side of Abdullah Effendi and following his education died during
religious leadership instead of his father in his own village, so it is
understood he had lived in the era of Seljuk Emperor and did not
negotiated with Timur Han.
